Style on the streets: Cape Town

Menswear is truly an underestimated element of the fashion industry.

I’m grateful that over the last 3 years, it has manifested as something worthy of consideration by fashion houses.

There shouldn’t  be a simple structure to the nature of apparel, regardless of gender.

Style meditates on the wonder of fabric and the human form, articulating the extent of human perfection in the silhouette.MENSWEAR

David Tlale (second from the left) designed the lemon zest linen suit (on the far left), as well as the mint turquoise shades suit (pictured third from the right). He veered from the norm of his womanswear collections by designing an entirely male collection with many bold statements and precision cuts on durable spring/summer fabrics.
Attendees of the event were also staying true to basking in the hipster motif that has become so popular. Note the brogues, furs, printed fabric and chinos.
