What do you do in-between shows, and hoping for more tickets to them?
I don’t known about you, but I sight-see like you wouldn’t believe.
*P.S: I am the only real sight to see here
I headed out the door, making sure to look cute just in case a show ticket should happen upon me. I ended up everywhere from The Musee de Louvre, to The Ritz.
Today you see me in a few budget-friendly pieces, matched with a cream offering from my usual fantastic Fashion Week collaborator, Puma South Africa.
Hair is by Aretha Bauwens, and makeup includes a glow up by Swiitch Beauty, while the clothing ensemble includes a jersey dress from Pick ‘n Pay clothing, and a sleeveless shearling coat from Fashion World.
*Here’s one filter-full image of the coat for you!
On this here day, I got to witness the – dare I say – ‘interesting’ SS19 presentation by George Keburia(stay tuned for the full review), within the breathing distance of Place Vendome.
Place Vendome is a Parisian area in the 1st arrondissement which is so history-laden, aloof and boujie, that a blue-blood would find it hard not to straighten themselves up when stepping a toe on to it’s perfectly paved walkways.

King Louis XIV was committed to building a marvel of architecture; A monument profoundly grandiose, whose embodiment of power would echo through the ages.
Reminds me a bit of the old Ozmandius poem by Percy Shelley, particularly:
“Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things / The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed /And on the pedestal, these words appear My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings / Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Luckily for the French king, something beside now remains. The sheer amount of bare cement which spreads out into the city, may be seen as a colossal wreck for some, boundless and bare – character but the glint of bodies flowing in and out the square; but the imposing and fortified grandeur of this space reaffirms the ageless sophistication synonymous with France.
…so yeah, near there is where I got to watch the presentation.
What do we think of the look?
Stay tuned for more looks…
